Granada acogerá el próximo 21 de Abril unas jornadas sobre Retinosis Pigmentaria, la explicación de la enfermedad y sus tratamientos. Este evento, organizado por la Asociación Andaluza de Retinosis Pigmentaria, tendrá lugar en la sede de la ONCE de Granada (Pza. del Carmen s/n) y dará comienzo a las 10:00h.

Las Jornadas contarán con la intervención de diversos especialistas como el Dr. Jose Luis García Serrano, jefe de servicio de oftalmología del Campus de la Salud de Granada, la Dra. Susana García Linares, genetista del Hospital Virgen de Nieves, Irene Pacheco Yepes o Miguel Íñiguez.

Se tratarán campos de interés para el diagnóstico, tratamiento y adaptación a los síntomas que rodean esta enfermedad, tanto para afectados como para familiares. También se expondrán los resultados de la aplicación de un taller del manejo del estrés, causa importante en el avance del deterioro de las células de la retina.
Se espera que las jornadas sean del interés de socios, allegados y personas interesadas en conocer más detalles sobre esta enfermedad y sus circunstancias.
